Questions

The things people ask before they book.

How long can I keep the dumpster?
The standard rental runs one week. If your project needs longer, tell us when you book and we'll set the schedule around it. Call before the week is up rather than after — it's easier for everyone.
What happens if I go over the weight limit?
Every size includes a set tonnage. If the load weighs more, the extra is billed at $190 per ton, based on the official scale ticket from the disposal facility. We send you the ticket with the invoice, so you can see exactly what the load weighed.
Do I need a permit?
Not on your own driveway or property. If the dumpster has to sit on a public street, the town requires a permit. Tell us where it's going and we'll walk you through it.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
We put boards under the rollers on every residential drop. Tell us if you have pavers, fresh sealcoat or a soft surface and we'll plan the placement with you.
How full can I fill it?
Level with the top rail. Anything above the rail can't legally be transported, so an overfilled box means we have to come back — and that costs you a second trip.
When do I pay?
The rental fee is due when the order is placed. Weight overage and any special-item fees are billed after the load is dumped and weighed.
Can I put concrete or brick in it?
Yes, but tell us first. Dense material hits the weight limit long before it fills the box, so a clean load of concrete or brick is priced differently. Mixing it with household debris is the expensive way to do it.
Do you work with contractors?
Regularly. If you pull dumpsters often, call us about a standing arrangement instead of booking one at a time.
